What is eSender and Why Do You Need It
eSender (易博通) is the official Chinese application for managing a virtual Chinese phone number. This number is what Chinese car manufacturers use to link and operate their vehicle systems - Li Auto (Lixiang), Zeekr, Voyah, NIO, Geely and others.
Without a Chinese phone number and the eSender app, you cannot fully use your Chinese vehicle. Through eSender you receive SMS verification codes to log into your car account, manage your subscription, and can pay your Chinese number renewal.

eSender is not just a messenger. It is a management system for your Chinese virtual phone number. The app is required for: logging into your account, receiving verification codes, paying subscriptions and managing your balance.

Open App Store
On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store app (blue icon with the letter "A").

In the search bar type "eSender" or "易博通". Select the app with the blue-green icon from developer Chengdu Multibyte Technology. Alternatively use the direct link above.

Install the app
Tap "Get" or "Install". Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple ID password. Wait for the download to complete.

Launch eSender
Tap "Open" or find the icon on your home screen. The app is ready to use.
Install on Android (Google Play)
For Android smartphones (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Pixel and others) with Google Play installed:

Open Google Play
Find the Google Play Store app on your device (colorful triangle icon). Make sure you are signed into your Google account.

Search for eSender
Type "eSender" in the search bar or use the direct link. Select the app from developer Chengdu Multibyte Technology Co., Ltd.

Install and launch
Tap "Install". After downloading tap "Open". No additional account creation is required to run the app.
Install on Huawei / Without Google Play (APK)
If your phone doesn't have Google Play (Huawei, Honor after 2020, or similar), install via APK file. This is safe and legal:

To install an APK you need to allow installation from unknown sources. This is a one-time setting. After installing, we recommend disabling this setting again for security.

Enable installation from unknown sources
Go to "Settings" - "Security" (or "Privacy") - enable "Install from unknown sources" or "Allow from this source" for your browser.

Download the APK file
Visit: APKPure - eSender. Click "Download APK" and wait for the file to download.

Open the downloaded file
Go to your "Downloads" folder or tap the download notification. Open the .apk file.

Install the app
Tap "Install" in the dialog that appears. The system may warn about an unknown source - confirm the installation. Wait for completion.

Launch eSender
Tap "Open" or find the eSender icon in your app menu. The app is installed and ready to use.
First Launch and Setup
After installation, launch eSender. On the login screen:

Select language and country
On first launch, select your interface language. For working with a Chinese number, select China (+86) as the country code.

Enter your Chinese number
Enter the Chinese phone number linked to your vehicle. If you don't have a number yet - we can register one for you.

Verify via SMS or password
Enter the SMS code or account password. If you've lost your credentials, contact us for account recovery service.

Check balance and expiry date
In the app main menu check your Chinese number balance and expiry date. If it's expiring soon - pay for renewal.
